    How to fix WebDAV support

It would live obliging if there was improved interoperability connecting Apache WebDAV and extra WebDAV completion and Windows 7. Preferably it would be huge if I could plan a drive correspondence likewise to how an SMB fileshare is increase using net utilize. I need the solution for the issue.

Re: How to fix WebDAV support

I try to install webdav on my server, but I'm not sure how. Should I use webdav emerge where download and compile it. So In compiling it, I have this problem:
    Code:
    . / Configure - with-apxs = / usr / local / apache / bin / apxs
checking for gcc ... gcc gcc
checking for C compiler default output ... a. Out
checking whether the C compiler works ... yes
checking whether we are cross compiling ... no
    checking for executable suffix ...
checking for object suffix ... o
checking whether we are using the GNU C compiler ... yes
checking whether gcc accepts-g ... yes
    checking for ranlib ... ranlib
checking how to run the C preprocessor ... gcc -E
checking for ANSI C header files ... yes
checking for static Apache module support ... no
checking for dynamic Apache module support (via APXS) ... found at /usr/local/apache/bin/apxs found at / usr / local / apache / bin / apxs
configure: error: Your APXS installation is broken and Cannot Be Used.
Please see # apxs for http://www.webdav.org/mod_dav/install.html
    more information.

As you have done the installation of the apache so there is no need to re-emerge the apache you will need to jus form the installed apache IS and then try configure the cinfig.d file and then tell apache to start with the Webdav support and I hope this will let you to get away from the issue. I would like to tell you to do this and see if you are getting the solution or not.

Re: How to fix WebDAV support

OK, Thank you, I succeeded, but I thought it worked not because I did not get there. In fact, it only works with a specialized client webdav suddenly, I realized it was missing a directive Indexes. After that, Firefox and IE could access. But still no Vista. There is a patch to install windows, but not for me, In fact, I have Vista 64 and the problem has been known for over a year and there is no fix. I cannot create a network drive webdav in vista 64. By cons of Software as Any Client connect well. Too bad, because what I wanted was just a network drive. Thank you anyway.
