First launch Internet Explorer. Then go to Tools and then click on Internet Options. After that look for Content Tab. Once found then click on Autocomplete. You fill settings in that same box. You have to then click on the checkmark which somewhere near web addresses. Click ok and restart your web browser. Now your Autocomplete feature will work.
First i would like to ask you, why you are still stuck with IE 6, why not IE 8 or IE 7? These are much advance and packed many improved features. Anyways, to enable Run Dialog Autocomplete feature, follow these steps:
- Run IE and go to Tools than click on Internet Options
- Now click on Content tab and click settings under AutoComplete.
- Place a checkmark near Web addresses and click OK twice.
Thats. it.
Hi Maq.H & Roxy
Thanks for your help.
The feature is working fine at this moment. I followed the instruction given in a website "completepcpedia" which i got from a forum. I will definitely install the IE8 in my computer.
Once again thanks for your advice. I really appreciate.
