New Opera 11 Alhpa with extensions

I have heard that the new version of Opera browser is out and it has better support for using all new extensions with it. I am using an Opera 10 On my Windows XP operating system and I have very much good experience using this browser due to which I would be happy to know more about its new version called as Opera 11 Alpha.

Having unveiled the next version of its browser to version 11, the company Opera Software has a second milling score (alpha 2). Although minor step in this new build development has still a few notable changes. The address bar is now shown how safe a website displaying a colored dot on the far left. Simply click on it to get more information on the security certificate. Also if the user has activated feature Turbo, allowing the compression of a web page on the company's servers, it will be possible to gain knowledge of time compared to loading the URL without optimization.

After introducing the gestural navigation by combining the right click of the mouse movement of the latter, the engineers decided to highlight this feature. Thus, pressing the right mouse button for a few seconds, the user gets a tutorial to explain graphically the operating principle. Ergonomics Manager integrated email has also been revised with a revision of the scroll bars. The management of filters and saved queries was unified in a single section called Labels. Search fields have also been simplified. From a given query will be possible to create a rule for sorting and future messages will therefore be listed in a text. Opera also announced an optimization of client startup and fixed many bugs. Finally users can now choose to enable or disable their extensions when surfing on a secure website with a HTTPS connection. Each add-on also has a page dedicated setup. Note that this new structure is likely to affect the current extensions that must now follow new criteria before deployment.

Re: New Opera 11 Alhpa with extensions

Opera 11 makes its first official release as an alpha release. The browser is available for download in English and for Windows only. It incorporates for the first time extensions, these grafts software that add features to a browser. Each module has an associated description page, with catch and user comments. There is no need to restart your browser after installation. Extensions installed can be managed through a dedicated page on which it is possible to disable or uninstall each of them. At first glance, the platform works very well even on this alpha a priority unstable.

Re: New Opera 11 Alhpa with extensions

The publisher Opera encourages developers to produce their own extensions to its browser, with emphasis on the compatibility of its platform with Web standards. No date has been communicated to the availability of the final. We can choose to install Opera for all accounts or only for the current account. Similarly, one can also choose a mobile facility, which must have a USB drive connected to the computer. This facility could then be used everywhere as soon as you plug the key elsewhere. Users will also notice an installation time divided by two compared to older versions.

Moreover an installation which should really learn much, Opera 11 is the first version put forward its own system extensions. These are encoded with conventional technologies now, such as HTML5, CSS or JavaScript. The alpha version includes a first gallery with a selection which, although small, functions perfectly. Finally, note that the first alpha comes with a new version of the Presto rendering engine, stamped precisely 2.6.37. The performances are advertised as better, hundreds of problems have been fixed, and support of web standards has been extended, including the management WebSocket.

Re: New Opera 11 Alhpa with extensions

The big news of Opera 11, is obviously the arrival of the extensions, just like its competitors, Opera uses them to improve the browser. And this new arrival has not made half as the extensions are developed in (x) HTML and CSS, or JavaScript in some cases. Making it easier, we have no doubt, the arrival of numerous extensions since these languages are widely used and accessible to all. A list of extensions (in English) was established bringing together so all the extensions available. Found extensions as General Translate (translation of a web page), Opera Configurator (which configures the browser with one click), or extensions based Web development such as Opera Mini Simulator, whose goal is to simulate Opera Mini (web browser for mobile phone) on PC ... The list is updated daily with the emergence of new extensions, which are commented by many users.
