    Uninstall or Disable Skydrive

I have problem that do anybody had uninstalled or Disabled Skydrive on their system, if someone had tried it out please suggest me how you have done this. And if you have not solved the same thing so how does a single bypass Skydrive or Web Applications and basically download or save a Microsoft Word document as we used to with a press. Skydrive is (1) so cumbersome and (2) I DO NOT need my documents saved on the web. As I am already switching to the Gmail account, and it will little by little phase out the hotmail account.

I have outlined out how to stop it the same problem which is opening up automatically in Skydrive. In your hotmail accounts go to options.
    • Choose: Active View Settings.
    • Choose: Hide Photos and Video Previews.
    • Then press NO for the question: Do you want interactive updates from Websites you have accounts for?

To uninstall and remove the Skydrive Explorer you can go to start << Control Panel << Add and Remove. And remove the Skydrive Explorer from your computer. I have gone to the same with my system. I hope this will help you to solve your problem of Uninstalling the Skydrive Explorer from your system.

To Uninstall and remove Skydrive Explorer you can try this step.
    • Place and delete Skydrive Explorer by deleting the associated files, and trained software professional would do this work improved.
    • Delete the registry entries if you can.
    • Removed the related directions.

By doing a rapid search through the Internet, you can search out which files and registry entry want to be removed. But this elimination is only suggested for computer specialist, for removing the incorrect file or registry keys might render Windows unbootable.

I think that Hotmail doesnt provides a way of attaching documents from SkyDrive to your e-mail. Sometimes the reverse can be done through. For certain files (such as Microsoft Office documents), Hotmail does let you store an attachment on SkyDrive and send links to that attachment. However, the file must first be on your computer.

If you want to share a file in your skydrive follow the below steps:

    a) Go to skydrive and click on the document you want to share. This should open up the document in the viewer (excel viewer, word viewer etc)

    b) On top of the ribbon, there is a "share" button. Click on that

    c) Go through the steps and add email recipients whom you want to share the file with. An email notification will be sent to them with the link to the document.

If you wanted to attach the actual file, for that you would need to download the file from skydrive, save the file locally in your computer, and then attach it to the email as usual.
