Laptop through router does not allow me to enter any secure site

I have purchased new laptop and have connected my laptop to router. The problem i am facing is that, i am not able to connect to some secure site. Initially i was able to use the internet on my old laptop. I am using internet explore 8 on my machine. I don't have any idea, why i am getting this problem. If you have any solution related with this issue then please helps me out. Thanks.

I will advise you to clear the Secure Sockets Layer. For doing this first open the Internet Explorer>>then go to the Tools>>Internet Options>>Content tab>>Clear SSL state. After trying this you will be able to solve your problem. Even i had solved my problem by trying this solution. Hope it will help you.

I have a solution for fixing this issue. Try to verify your date and time settings-
    • Go to the start.
    • Then go to the Control Panel.
    • Select the date and time option
    • Make a check that you have configured it to make the use of current date and time
    • Then click OK.

If the problem is not solved out after trying this, then reply me back.

I will suggest you to enable compatibility View in your Internet Explorer 8 browser. This will allow you to view a secure Web site. The problem in your case might be that, the websites which you are trying to access may not be fully compatible with Internet Explorer 8; hence you will require enabling compatibility view on your browser. On the top left corner there is a compatibility button; from there you can enable it. I think you will be able to solve your problem after trying this fix.

You can try to re-register the Internet Explorer .dll files. For doing that you will require to click on start and then type the command cmd in the run box. It will open a command prompt. Inside the command prompt try to re-register the .dll files and it will solve your problem. Hope it will help to you.
