    Cannot Scroll WebPage in Web-Browser

    hi there.......

I have an Acer Aspire One Netbook with Win XP.
There have been times where I'm on the internet, and a page will fully load, but I can't scroll down on the page to see the entire thing. I know that there's more to the page, but there's no scroll bar on the side, and the arrow keys don't do anything.
This has only ever happened in a chat room environment. It happens in the GF chat, and it has also happened on the Stickam chat. I can never see the texts boxes, so I can never use the chats.
Anyways, it's really irritating and I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions.
I've tried zooming out, but nothing happens.

    Any ideas?

    Please help

    hello.......

If you use embed messenger, then the page can't be scroll. Also can't see the contents of the page.

But if you install standard web messenger, it works great.

follow this to avoid the problem:

    Open EmbedMessenger.css(ROOT"CuteChat"CuteSoft_Client"CuteChat"EmbedMessenger.css), goto line 257 and delete ’ overflow:hidden;’

having a look at your problem it's quite a strange thing happening........

    try this one:

right click on your page and choose properties, set the drop down boxes to your page dimensions .

    check this one:

You may have done what I did the first time I "copied" an element from one page and "pasted" it to another. Problem is that I copied from a page that was longer than the one I pasted to! So the pasted item went to a location that was below the page length. Just right click on the page where you can't scroll down; choose "page properties" and temporarily set to the length of the page that you "copied from. Then move the item up.

    Trio,
I think this IS what I have done, however when I right click on the page it does not offer the properties option, so is there something else I can do???? I have tried everything I have seen on the web. Thanks

Long back I was also having the similar problem. I still don't know an exact solutions but was successful to get rid from it. The things that I have done was:
    • Scanned my system with Updated Anti-virus
    • Used CCleaner to clean system
    • Deleted all temp files
    • Uninstalled all plug-ins and add-ons.

I don't know what exactly helped me but I was successful in solving out that problem. I would like to recommend to do all above things.
