Internet Explorer 8 redirecting to sites based on Mobile layout

There are a hardly some sites after that when I attempt to go to instead of being sent to the usual site. I am being directed to their smart phone formatted or mobile website. I really don't know what’s reasoning this. I had the Google redirect virus but it has been deleted or removed from my computer system. I tried to initiation IE in no ads on form but the trouble still stay. The only thing which appears to discontinue the problem was while I distorted my settings in security under internet to modify active scripting to prompt mode. When I went to the sites it inquires if I required using the primary script which popped up, when I said no it took me to the usual site. I am not certain if this is a registry error or java script or what? But how can I get free of it? Any ideas please help me!

Really nice question! In this case first optimize the IE8:
    1. First open the IE 8.
    2. Then click on Tools- Internet Options.
    3. Next click on the advanced tab.
    4. Below Reset IE Settings, simply click on Reset.
    5. Open IE8.
    6. Then click on Tools- Internet Options.
    7. And click the Security tab.
    8. At the end click reset all zones to default level, click OK.

After this steps follow the following steps:
    1. Open IE8.
    2. Click on Tools, and click on Delete Browsing History.
    3. Delete Browsing History- Delete All.
    4. Click to choose the ‘Also delete files and settings stored by add-ons’ check box, and after this click OK.

Hope this must helps you to solve your problem!!

The basis you are getting redirected is because of the Creative AutoUpdate xx.xx.xx. I am familiar with this because I had the similar problem when annoying to get to Super pages. It would transmit or redirect me to any unknown sites. Browser to this registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\5.0\User Agent\Post Platform” and remove "Creative AutoUpdate x.x.xx.xx"; I have experienced this by re-adding the key and being redirected again to mobile sites.

In this case I too like to insert little bit information. I think, the genuine registry key is located in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINES root, not in HKEY_CURRENT_USER. But the remaining keys are similar. And also the position is different between one using 64-bit (x64) and 32-bit(x86) Windows. I am at present using Windows 7 64-bit (x64). In Windows 7 64-bit (x64), the location of the registry key:
    • For 32-bit Windows, it's located in here:

    “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\5.0\User Agent\Post Platform”
    • For 64-bit Windows, it's located in here:

    “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\5.0\User Agent\Post Platform”
