Word stops responding when attachings word doc in Outlook

Hey

I am finding that word stops responding when using outlook to add an attachment

It comes up with 'Microsoft Word has stopped working'
Trying to find a resolution etc.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Many users have face similar kind of issue and this problem was fixed by removing the office suite, reinstalling office, adjusting norton settings, removing a non existant mapped drive to another computer, and service packing the operating system and office. Norton real time protection and internet worm were shut down.
