Internet explorer 9 stops working with pdf file

Whenever i try view a pdf file from the internet, i have the following message:"internet explorer has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available". Therefore, there is no solution available but to go back to my home page or to the website itself and in this case, i will encounter the same problem. This only happens when i try to view a pdf file from websites on the internet. Currently i am using internet explorer 9 as my default web browser. Please help me to fix this issue.

If you are facing a problem of like this then you must do the following.
One thing you can try is to configure the browser to use Acrobat or Adobe Reader as a helper application. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Close your web browser.
    2. Start Acrobat or Adobe Reader.
    3. Choose Edit > Preferences.
    4. Select Internet in the list on the left.
    5. Uncheck "Display PDF in Browser", and click OK.
    6. Restart Internet explorer.

After doing this you will be able to view the pdf file properly.

If the browser is unable to open the pdf file then determine if your web browser can open the PDF file from your local hard drive rather than from the web:

    • In your web browser, choose File > Open.
    • Choose All Files from the Files Of Type pop-up menu
    • Click Browse
    • Select a PDF file you have saved previously, and then click Open to open
      the PDF file.

If Acrobat or Adobe Reader displays the file, but won't display it on the web, the web server has a problem serving the PDF file.

You can do the following if your internet dose not response while viewing pdf file. Remove all versions of Acrobat, and then reinstall. Since Adobe doesn't support multiple versions of Adobe Reader or Acrobat on the same computer you must install just one software. Multiple versions simultaneously installed can lead to software conflicts and errors. You should only install 1 version of either Reader or Acrobat. Uninstall all versions of Adobe Reader or Acrobat and then reinstall only one version of either Reader or Acrobat.
