Chrome hangs while loading webpages

Norton360 since I removed and replaced him with Avast with Zone Alarm with spybot and ad-adware. Then the Google Chrome crashes when browsing. My modem is connected and then I can my email Window mail. I need to restart the PC but the closure is so very long (5 minutes). Maybe it should settle Zone Alarm or Spybot but I do not see how? Thank you for your help. I have Vista SP1. PC Core2 Quad processor Q6600 PB 2GB memory 500GB hard.

You are in a configuration belt and suspenders and he'll have to choose! I recommend you do not keep Zone Alarm. I removed Zone Alarm after posting my request and actually the problems seem to have disappeared.
I made unCHKDSK telling that "the volume bitmap is incorrect, corrected a CHKDSK / F. I was happy with XP zone alarm, reason for which I had installed. I keep Spybot. Thank you for your advice

Have you tried any virus and malware scans?

Download TrendMicro HijackThis.exe (HJT) to the office.
Double-click HJTInstall.
Click the Install button.
It will automatically place HJT in C: \ \ Program Files \ \ Trend Micro \ HijackThis \ HijackThis.exe.
When installing, HijackThis should open for you.
Click on Make a system scan and save a log file button
HijackThis will scan and then a log will open in Notepad.
Copy and paste the entire contents of the log in your message.
