PHP code to insert into the search.php

I am having an issue with the Zoom Search in which i need to work with the opening of the non html file like word, excel and pdf while clicking on the search result during the browsing. For that i need a PHP code to insert into the search.php. If any one is having the knowledge for same then please let me know about it. Thanks in advance.

It is not advisable to work with the PHP scripting if you are not familiar with the scripting knowledge. Modification in the script can lead to the harm to the application. If any error occur for the script the it is very hard to fix the problem. If the developer provide this modification functionality then only go with the same.

I think regarding any changes in the scripts of the Zoom Search engine you should better contact the Wrensoft who are the developer of the same and can guide you in advance regarding the scripting issue which you are going through. So if possible then contact them and see whether you are getting it work or not.

If you are using the Zoom Search Engine version 6 then i can help you with the opening of the non html document that you are looking for. All you have to do is to get into the "Configure" and after that to the "Scan Option". Go to the Plugin Format and select "Open all plugin file formats (eg. PDF, DOC, etc.) in a new window".
