What's the incoming and outgoing server for IMAP for Windows Live Mail

How to use Windows Live Mail in the same configuration as that of Outlook Express for the behavior of deleting messages from IMAP boxes. I would like to know what is the hotmail pop server to be able to enter it in Messenger Plus! so that I check several accounts at once. Otherwise, there is a plug-in for messenger that can do this now. I need help to re-configure back the same.

To manage your IMAP account with Outlook, you must enter the account settings. If you do not remember the details, see the IMAP server address and SMTP major messaging services. Go in the Tools menu and then select Accounts. In the window that opens, then click the Add button to open the Internet Connection Wizard. Select Email account on the first screen and click Next. Then enter your e-mail address and password, then the display name. Normally Windows Live Mail will automatically charge of going server settings.

There are possibility of automatic tuning. If the port is enabled IMAP in your e-mail, Windows Live Mail will automatically select it. Once auto configuration is complete, select your new account in the Accounts window and click the Properties button. Verify that the Advanced tab settings (SSL connection and server port) are correct. Once done just reboot once for settings to take effect.

You also perform all settings manually. For that you will need to check the box manually configure the settings for this email account. For that click on Next. Select IMAP as the type of incoming server and enter the names of the incoming mail server (IMAP) and outgoing (SMTP). Check that all parameters (particularly the secure connection SSL and port numbers IMAP and SMTP) are consistent with those of your mail, then click Next. Enter your last name and your account password. If your mailbox is accessible via a path, view the IMAP tab and specify - to the path in the Path box to the root folder.

It is better that you must configure you account first for managing the same. The handling of IMAP box is identical to that of a box pops. Note that you can not view some files IMAP account. To do this, select the IMAP account in the left column, then click the IMAP Folders button to the right of the toolbar. Select the file that you want to disappear and click the Hide button to the right.

For that you might need to go to Menu and then click on Tools. Then go to Options and then go to Advanced. Then uncheck the option of use the Deleted Items folder with IMAP accounts. And again the icon reappears and the menu item is no longer grayed. You can also go back to Menu and then click on View. Then go to Show Deleted Messages. From here now you can again delete messages marked for deletion.

WLM can access all accounts SMTP, POP3, IMAP and most accounts WEBMAIL. Through the use of WLM as a client for messaging GMail (Google), the best solution which offers more security and functionality is to use GMail IMAP compatibility. This option is unfortunately not yet active on all GMail users. If the IMAP option is not available, then use the POP option that provides roughly the same functionality.
