Cannot display online pdf files in Internet Explorer 8 and Windows 7

Hey everyone, When searching on Google, it has become rare that I can "show an existing article in pdf format. I get the following message: "Unable to display the page" To save it, there is no problem. By displaying the HTML, the handwriting is sometimes illegible and overlaps sometime, and the layout is catastrophic.

My config.: Windows 7, Adobe Reader 9.0

I did not findany solution for the same. Thank you for your cooperation.

I think you have installed multiple number of the adobe application on your system. According to my knowledge Adobe does not support multiple versions of Acrobat on the same computer. Acrobat Reader works with many products, the installation of multiple versions of software may cause conflicts and errors. So removing all the acrobat versions except one will definitely resolve the issue.

    Try the following steps.
    1. Select Start -> Control Panel (Windows XP) or Start -> Settings -> Control Panel (Windows 2000).
    2. Double-click Add / Remove Programs.
    3. Select Adobe Acrobat [version] and click Remove.
    4. When you are prompted, confirm that you want to remove Acrobat Reader.
    5. Repeat the above procedure for all installed versions of Acrobat.
    6. Restart the computer, then reinstall Acrobat.

It would be better if you try to remove the application from your system somehow. I would suggest you to get rid of this by simply selecting the applications from the add/remove programs search for all the applications associated to the acrobat reader and then remove them finally install them once again and the problem will be solved.

I think that the best solution to your problem is to use the Mozilla Firefox application which is much more lighter than the Internet Explorer which consumes very less resource and also this application is compatible with all the application of the adobe which will prompt you to automatically install the required stuffs.
