Secure channel client authentication required

I am using Windows XP operating system and have recently updated the browser, that is Internet Explorer from version 7 to 8. From the time since I have done that, I am getting a message saying that Secure channel client authentication required, on visiting some of the trading sites. Because of this error, I am not able to log into my account on the particular sites. There were no issues while using IE7. How can I solve this problem being faced in this updated browser? Kindly help.

The reason that you are encountering a message as Secure channel client authentication required is because it is a requirement by the Virtual Directory, that only a browser that provides an option of configured encryption can be used in such situations in trading sites. So, I guess switching to a new browser can fix the situation.

Inorder to do such tradings, you will have to get a letter or some kind of Certificate from the bank. For this, you must have proper reasons as well as documents regarding the trade. Only large organizations and businessmen get such letters or Certificates. If you can satisfy all these requirements, then you will surely get the required documents. All the best.

A solution to get rid of this message as Secure channel client authentication required is to clear off the SSL State. For this, follow the steps given below:

Start IE8.
After that, go to Tools.
Now, click on Internet Options.
Here, select Content.
Then, select the option as Clear SSL state.

There must be no problems after that.
