Internet Explorer sound problems

Ever since, I have done an upgradation of the operating system from Windows Vista to Windows 7, I am encountering Internet Explorer sound problems. All the other sounds on the system, like the built-in sound as well as the music player work fine. I cannot hear anything on the browser like while playing games or while listening to songs or videos on the web. Any assistance on this problem is duly appreciated.

Simply follow the steps provided below if you are getting the Internet Explorer sound problems:

• Start Internet Explorer.
• After that, select Tools.
• Now, go to Internet Options.
• Here, in the Advanced tab, there is a section called Multimedia below.
• You will see an option called Play sounds in web pages there. If no check mark is given there, put a check mark and restart the browser.

You problem will be hopefully fixed after that.

The particular site in which you are trying to play the sound, that is the video or audio, seems to being disabled by the antivirus or the firewall, that you have installed and enabled in your system. You have to disable the antivirus or the firewall and then, try loading the online video or audio. If this helps, then uninstall the antivirus or firewall that you are using and get a new one.
