Need information about Torrage!

Sponsored Links
I have recently heard that we can store the .torrent files with the help of torrage. I am not having any idea other than this. Thought that instead of searching on net, it would be better to ask you guys, since you explain the things very descriptively(). Please provide some information in details as soon as possible. Any other information related to the topic would be grateful.

Re: Need information about Torrage!

Torrage is a service of storing .torrent files. Torrage do not know what can be downloaded with the torrent they have no listing or search engine torrent present they have no trackers, they do not retain the original name of the torrent file, they do not know not sharing and downloading. it looks a bit like Megaupload or Rapidshare. OpenBitTorrent is a BitTorrent tracker without registration, free search engine, without a list of active torrents. It should create your own torrent file and include the address of the Tracker.

Re: Need information about Torrage!

Torrage was introduced as the first storage site for torrent files. The arrival of such a site in the world was BitTorrent opportunity to provide the BitTorrent community extra space to host torrent files. Nevertheless, to guard against inclinations of copyright owners, Torrage had to make some concessions on features: no search, no community, no listing of files and no ranking.

Re: Need information about Torrage!

But if Torrage is freely usable by the Internet, it does not stop to the bigger sites. Besides, at this very moment and Suprnova eztv relied on the API provided by the site to use. And indeed, the growing popularity of Torrage is certainly his biggest problem. For the moment, Torrage is all alone on this market. And it is never good to rely on a single service, especially when it can attract the wrath of copyright owners.

Re: Need information about Torrage!

If Torrage can not do everything alone, it may instead release its source code to enable all to develop its own system and build on the redundancy of torrent files to avoid losing anything. And that's what made Torrage [tar.bz2]. It remains to be seen whether this will arouse vocations within the BitTorrent community.

Re: Need information about Torrage!

As many know, many Internet service providers have blocked or limited access to torrent sites. Some may have access to The Pirate Bay, but not to download any file with a. Torrent, but a new initiative OpenBittorrent can solve this problem. They have just launched what would become the first server file hosting torrents, Torrage, so you do not misunderstand we are talking about the files ". Torrent" no content. In simple words, Torrage is a server that acts as a "cache" that holds a temporary (six months) files. "Torrents" so that they can be downloaded from their addresses. This helps users who have problems connecting to torrents sites - with TPB for example - that perhaps is being limited by your ISP.

Re: Need information about Torrage!

In many occasions that the ISP has blocked the entire site, and although we get the file ". Torrent" this will be completely useless, since surely within the containing the URL's of the trackers on the same site and will also be blocked . Torrage also involved here, and it all torrent file that is cached on your server, you will automatically add the addresses of the trackers OpenBittorrent, which means that you can start the download process without major complications. The service is intended to be used by both regular users (from their site) and large torrents sites, the latter can use the API available of service to automate the process cache. Files not listed in any way, and are only accessible if you type in the URL address bar:
http://torrage.com/torrent/ INFO_HASH_IN_HEX. torrent where "INFO_HASH_IN_HEX" is the torrent file hash information.

Re: Need information about Torrage!

Basically, the purpose of this site is to host. Torrent, full stop. No search, no community of downloaders mad, nothing!! So, it does not know what to tip on. Torrent, they have no listing or search engine, they do not even have a tracker and above all, they do not retain any IP address. The only way to find her. Torrage torrent is to know the name given in the form of hash in the upload. In short, now, with OpenBittorrent + Torrage, anyone can ride his little torrent search engine, with a minimum of means.
