The user can now be found anywhere and on any machine. It is necessary to take advantage of our facility for communications and can not be influenced by specific equipment installations. Through the web access is only needed a browser to access the application. We will be able to reach from our facilities, from our offices, from wireless networks, mobile. or facilitate telecommuting options. This ease of use does not conflict at all with security. All communications are done via encrypted connections and can establish as many restrictions as you like. We may allow access from our facilities to the entire application, while other settings prevent from accessing the management module.

In software engineering is called Web application to applications that users can use by accessing a web server via Internet or an intranet via a browser. Web applications are popular due to the practicalities of web browser as a thin client, as well as the ease to update and maintain web applications without distributing and installing software to thousands of potential users. It is noteworthy that a Web page may contain elements that allow for active communication between the user and information. This allows the user to access the data interactively, thanks for the page to respond to each of their actions, such as fill and submit forms, play games and access various data base managers of all kinds.

    Re: RIA Web User Interface

The web interfaces have certain limitations in the functions available to the user. There are features common in desktop applications such as drawing on the screen or drag-and-drop not supported by standard Web technologies. Web developers often use interpreted languages (scripts) on the client side to add more functionality, especially to provide an interactive experience that does not require reloading the page each time (which tends to be annoying to users). Recently developed technologies to coordinate these languages with the technologies in the server side.

Web applications run from the browser natively. But there are some applications that run from the browser but also require the installation of software on your computer to be usable. These applications are called Rich Internet Applications . The reason for using this additional software is that there are many features that browsers can not offer, and it enriches the web applications by offering these features. Examples of features that can offer online programs through the use of software installed :
    • Image Processing
    • Image Capture
    • Using webcam / video capture.
