message stuck in outbox

I have vista (biz, I think) and office 2007 not on exchange server. large message stuck in outbox. a forum sent me to a fix which I downloaded. Fix said download didn't apply to my computer. Any ideas how to delete? I'm not an expert but I can follow directions pretty well. All my mail is still sending but this message makes it hard for me to close out email because I get the message about msg still in outbox.

I face a similar issue when there was message which stucked on my outbox. I am not able to send the mail. First I had saved a copy of the same in drafts then the possible way to get rid of is to delete it. First open the message and then close it. Now select and delete it. If this does not work then put the outlook on offline mode. That you can do from File > Work Offline. Restart Outlook and then delete the same.
