    Re: µTorrent mUI

An independent developer has recently released a new free program and open-source named μTorrent mIU. Operating on the principle of Software client / server, it will use to install on a PC connected to the Internet BitTorrent client μTorrent. Once this process is done, simply launch a web browser on the mobile, the coordinates of the server on which BitTorrent client is installed ... able to control it remotely. It is indeed possible to run then downloads, see their status or interrupt directly from the mobile.

Simply activate the web interface in the options of uTorrent (Preferences / WebUI), and log on utorrentmui. Since mobile with the parameters entered in μTorrent. The server will of course be the IP address of the computer where you installed the client. You can then control the torrents being downloaded (stop, pause, resume), and even control the bandwidth allocated to upload and download. All relevant data are shown for each torrent, as the number of seeds, of peers, the estimated download time (ETA) or the state of the tracker. The only thing he is not yet possible to do is to remotely add a torrent to download, but the developer provides works there.

    Re: µTorrent mUI

Originally developed for Windows, μTorrent for Mac is Cocoa native, still in version RankAnd happening now in version 0.9.2, with a list of corrections bug very long, and adding some new features, like support for UDP trackers, or support for PPC processors will please owners of G4 and G5. An interface that should delight fans of single window. Note that even if it is comparable to Transmission in terms of lightness and functionality, μTorrent is not open source.
