The problem is that your password has expired (you've got to change recently and check the case "expires in 72 days"). The main manages to get out this way : I tried to open my mailbox on hotmail.com but instead of typing my password click on "forgot password" pass "and follows checked" Send me instructions to reset my password via email. Followed the instructions and everything works fine now So especially do not check "expires in 72 days". Last edited by johnson22 : 01-06-2010 at 05:29 PM. |

For this error code 8004882d (which also appeared on my computer), I just found a solution that really worked and solved my problem completely: - Click "Start" - Click on "all programs", - Click on "Attachments" - Click "right" to "prompt" - Click on "Run as Administrator"; - Click on "continue" at the command prompt, type "netsh int tcp set global autotuningleve = disabled, - Confirm everything with "enter" and OK. This worked very well at home.

I finally find the solution to the error 8004882d Windows Live Messenger: Windows Live does not manage Internet addresses starting with a - Indeed my address was like: -Example.com. I recreated another address by removing the shot and everything works on it (Hotmail + Messenger). I said that Microsoft has no mention of this anomaly and that the registration site accepts addresses beginning with a shot even if they are mismanaged. I have not found any website that referred to this problem. |

If a firewall (Firewall) is installed (such as ZoneAlarmNorton Internet Security, etc..), It is possible that Messenger does not have permission to access the Internet, especially if an update of MSN has been performed recently. Add MSN Messenger to the list of programs that have permission to access the Internet in this case. Also Clear the cache of Internet Explorer (IE) and delete cookies * Open Internet Explorer, click on the menu "Tools"Then"Internet Options", * Click on "Delete files", * Click on "Delete Cookies". |
