Anyway to set homepage in safari?

I need your help in solving a small problem which I am facing. I have a Macbook pro running on Mac OS X 10.5. I use Safari as the default browser on the system. The problem which I am facing is that, whenever I open Safari for surfing Internet, it displays the last page which I have visited. I want to set a certain website as the homepage for Safari hence I want to know if there is Anyway to set homepage in safari? Any solutions regarding the topic are welcome.

There is no way in which you will be able to set home page on Safari browser. I have tried to search the solution but did not get any positive results. Finally I came up with a work around which works great for me. Now before I close the browser, I visit the website which I want to open next time. I know it is not same as setting the website as homepage but it works.

I think there is some problem with the version of the browser which you are using. Download some other browser which works on the Mac system and install it. Set the hompage in the browser for the website which you want to visit regularly or update the version of the safari which you are using and see if the problem is solved or not.

Try the steps below and see if it helps :-

1. Open the website which you want to set as Home page.
2. Open the "Safari" menu.
3. Go to "Preferences."
4. Open the "General" tab.
5. Locate the "Home page:" field and click on the "Set to Current Page" button under it.
6. Close the preference section.
7. Restart Safari

Thanks for helping out. As suggested, I followed the steps for changing the home page of the browser and now home page is set. But the browser has started to crash frequently after setting the homepage. Can this setting create problems like this? How to solve this problem? Will I have to reinstall Safari on the computer? Please help.
