    BSNL Broadband error code: 711????

    I am not able to make a connection from this morning in spite of numerous tries and also through a re-setting of connection in both ways (PPPPoE & Bridge).

    BSNL C-Care censures for our computer for the breakdown to create a connection and also even says that C drive of our computer might be not empty.
    I am using Home 250 plan and the error code: 711 is showing every time.
    Please help me?

    • First Open your modem [http://192.168.1.1]
    • Then go to WAN Settings: WAN Type: RFC2684Bridged
    • And then connection Type: Pure Bridged
    • And now Save and Reboot your system.
    • Go to Start/ Control Panel/ Network Connection
    • Make a new network connection then press next button
    • Now connect to the Internet and then pres next button
    • And then setup my connection manually and then press next button
    • Now Connect with a broadband connection which needs a broadband: next
    • Put several ISP name: next
    • Put YOUR username and password: next: Finish

    At the time I attempt to setup a new dial up connection on my bsnl broadband then it every time it gives me an error 711-The operation could not finish due to it could not begin the Remote Access Connection Manager service in time. Then attempt the operation again. However the Bsnl broadband runs on phone mode (during modem is switched on it automatically connects to internet) Modem Model-ZTE ZXDSL 831ALL.I used some other modems similar error so may be windows 7 problem. Can anyone will help me.

    I think you are using windows 7 lite version?

    Then you have to go to Services and confirm you must have these three services on Auto and started
    • Remote Access Connection Manager
    • Remote Access Auto Connection Manager
    • Telephony

    And also you have to go to LAN Setting(Network connections/LAN Adapter Properties) and choose TCP/Ipv4 and then double click on it and then manually you have to enter your LAN ip (192.168.1.x).

    See at dependencies TAB on those 2 services. What other services are there next to 3 services stated above. If this is has then use auto/starting them as well. If it do not runs then download this software application to load default service settings. And then all the necessary services will start running.

    • First you have to click on the Start, right-click then on My Computer, and then click Manage.
    • Now double-click Services and Applications>>double-click on the Services.
    • Now do the Right-click Telephony>>Now on the click Properties.
    • Go to the General tab, and then click Manual next to Startup type.
    • On General tab you have to click Start under Service status, and then click OK button.
    • Now again repeat steps 3 - 5 for the Remote Access Connection Manager service and for the Remote Access Auto Connection Manager service.

    I think you have a problem with your internal setting of modem with your PC. So open your modem configuration from 192.168.1.1 . And do the steps written in manual of the modem given by the company. So the connection setting established and you can start browsing.

    The solution is:
    Go to Start and then Run then type SERVICES.MSC and press on the OK button.
    You have to Scroll down and highlight Plug and Play service, and modify the Startup position from manual or Disabled to Enabled.
