    Problem Syncing Keychain with MobileMe

    Hi,

    I have a macbook pro with mac os x 10.5.5. I am registered and have enabled MobileMe sync'ing is fine until the timing reaches the tap. Next, I present a dialog box requesting the password. This is where the problem lies. It does not accepts the password. I tried many times and all my different password, including the logon password and has not worked. So can you solve my problem Syncing Keychain with MobileMe ??

    MobileMe members can easily check whether your keychain is fully compatible with their MobileMe account:

    1. Open System Preferences and click MobileMe.
    2. If not already done so, enter your MobileMe member name and your MobileMe password.
    3. The resulting window should be "Logged into MobileMe" position.
    4. Quit System Preferences.
    5. Open System Preferences and click MobileMe.

    If you are having problem while syncing Keychain with MobileMe, open Keychain Access Management (in / Applications / Utilities), or go to the Finder's Go menu and select "Utilities". In the lower left side of the window Keychain administration, it should be Show Keychains or Hide keychains. Select the upper left corner of the window to the top keychain named login.

    Make sure your keychain is unlocked. The lock icon next to your keychain to appear open or unlocked. If your keychain is locked, select it and click the lock icon located in the upper left corner. You will be prompted for the password to your keychain, which may correspond to that of your user account Mac OS X.

    Yo need to make sure your keychain is set as default keychain. Your keychain (or one session with the same name as your user account - see above) must be set as default keychain. This default keychain appears in bold. If your keychain is not set as default keychain, follow these steps:

    1. Select the keychain in Keychain Access window.
    2. From the File menu, choose Make Keychain "(login or account name)" Default.
    3. Quit Keychain Access
    4. Restart your computer or log off and then open it again.

    Use Keychain First Aid to determine if other problems affecting your keychain. Run N.A. Keychain and let it fix any problems encountered. After running Keychain First Aid, quit Keychain Access, restart your computer.

    1. Use Keychain Access to remove all elements whose type is "MobileMe password.
    2. Restart your computer or log off and then open it again.
    3. Follow again the procedure described in section Quick Test proper operation of your keychain.
