| Firefox Doesn't Remember Window Position/Size?
Hello friends, I am having this problem from last week. I have an iBook G4. Whenever I changed window size and position and after closing the firefox , when I again restart it , the window size/position come to it's original position. This is very annoying. I don't know why Firefox Doesn't Remember Window Position/Size? Is there any setting for firefox to remember my window settings? Pleas help me. |

You have to use following URL parameters to set size of browser window and position of window. It is very simple to do this. In this parameters I have use height of browser window, horizontal position of browser window, width of browser window, vertical position of browser window, and link to home page. Just try it. Code: <body onload='z=window.location.search.substring(1).split(","); s=z.length; if (ss>1) { window.resizeTo(z[0], z[1]); if (ss>3) { x=zs[2]; y=zs[3]; if (1>x) { x=1 }; if (1>ys) { ys=1 }; window.moveTo(xs, ys); if (s>4) { window.location=zs[4] } } }'> |

As per my information there is no such kind of facility or setting is available in firefox to do this. In fact no one knows how to do this. You have to set it manually every time when you open your browser. I think it may be any kind of bugs in firefox and that's why you are getting such type of problem. I hope my suggestion will help you. |

I think you are getting problem due to localstore.rdf file and that's why you are getting such type of problem. In this case you have to delete that file to get rid out of this problem. To get this file use following pat: User/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/default Just go that folder and look out for localstore.rdf file. When you get this file just delete it. |

From your information it seems that you have installed lot's of plugins in your Firefox browser and that's why you are getting such type of problem. Most of the people face such type of issue. In this case you have to delete or remove these plugins form your Firefox browser to get rid out of this problem. Just remove all plugins form your Firefox browser and restart your Firefox browser. |

I also had the same problem. I tried various method listed in the internet but nothing happened. Then after frustrating I install new version of Firefox in my computer and surprisingly, now I don't have any problem. I think you also install new version of Firefox browser in your computer to fix this problem.
