    How to use Exchange System Manager in exchange server 2003

    Hi all,

    I need help about how to use the Exchange System Manager and Active Director Users and basic knowledge of computers is to manage the Exchange 2003 is only the beginning. Next, I should decide whether to Exchange environment to a specific location using these tools. Please provide us the details. Thanks in advance.

    To manage Exchange 2003, the workstation must be added to your Exchange server, the directory where the forest. You can not manage another directory in the forest domain.You need to install Windows Administration Tools Pack. On the workstation to install Windows XP Professional SP1, you must install the Windows Administration Tools Pack.     You cal also Install SMTPSVC Service for Exchange System Manager. Follow the process:
    1. Dedicated management workstation, open the "Add or Remove Programs" and then click "Add / Remove Windows Components."
    2. Select "Internet Information Services (IIS)", and then click "Details."
    3. Select the "SMTP Service" check box. 
    4. Click "OK", and then click "Next", and then click "Finish."

    If you want to install Exchange System Management Tools, follow the steps:
    1. Dedicated management workstation, insert the Exchange 2003 installation CD into the workstation's CD drive, and then navigate to "drive>: \ setup \ i386 \ setup.exe.  
    2. In the "Component Selection" page, do the following: In "Component name", find "Microsoft Exchange". In the corresponding "Action" column, select "Customize."
    3. In "Component name", find "Microsoft Exchange System Management Tools." In the corresponding "Action" column, select "Install".
    4.Click "Next" to continue to complete the installation wizard.
