Creating websites and blogs on iWeb

    Hi,
I want to create a basic website for my local staff to publish notices and news on them. For that purpose someone has recommended me to use iWeb. As maximum people here are working on Mac. But there is a another issue also where I have quiet a less knowledge about this. So if there is an automated service then that will be very helpful. How does iWeb help in this.

It is right that creating a website is something very complex. But that becomes easier if you have an account MobileMe, you can host one click your web pages which are made with iWeb on your iDisk. If you do not have a MobileMe account then also the same is till possible to use iWeb and host your site on a server (FTP server to personal pages of your ISP, or your own domain for example).

iWeb is a web designing software provided by Apple in its suite iLife '09. It is a powerful tool and extremely easy to use. IWeb gives you the possibility to create your own web pages, website, blog and even your Photocast or podcast. There is no need to have a knowledge of html on iWeb. You can use the templates provided in the software. Very practical to start without breaking the head. These models can be changed at will and are a good starting point.

I am using this for writing blogs on iWeb. Just withing some clicks the same is published online. iWeb provides all the equipment necessary to create your web pages. Through seamless integration with other software in the suite iLife 09 (iPhoto, iTunes, GarageBand, iMovie), you can quickly access your entire photo library, your album of music and video creations. In short, everything that it takes to make your whole site on the media plan.

It is much better if you have a MobileME account. You can also publish your website on another server like free disk space provided by your ISP Internet in the framework of personal pages) or your own domain (if you have one). iWeb can then be used by everyone. It is possible to insert live content from other websites, such as video, news headlines or stock quotes for example. You can also add a MobileMe Gallery hosted on your iDisk but this needs MobileMe.

iWeb offers you several possibilities. Like you can insert Google Maps and Google ads. This is a program to earn money by placing relevant ads on your site. To do this we must create a free account AdSense. You are paid by Google when visitors click on ads displayed on your website. You can change the site theme on a click and create photo albums.
