Got BSNL dataone!

Atlast i got me BSNL dataone connection...

After years of hanging around with dialup, broadband experience is a total bliss for me....

Download speed: 30 kpbs constant
Around 120-130 MB download in one hour.

Rock ya baby, BSNL rulezzzz.

BSNL has a D/L limit of 1/2/3/4 GB/Month for various plans.Whats ur plan (like 500/month etc.).

oh yeah i forgot that....so enjoy the freedom while it lasts......

500 rs a month, 256 kpbs. 1 gb download limit (but thats after june 30th.)

Download the freeware Netstat Live - this gives your download speeds as well as keeps track of your download totals - I heard from someone in Kolkatta who uses BSNL's service that they always show a higher amount as downloads. Even Hathway would show a higher download figure when I used their 1 GB plan a couple of years back. I would download an exact 100mb file and disconnect and when I checked with Hathway the download would be shown around 120mb !!

30 kbps....hubba hubba! only if the download limits were a bit higher

... 1 GB is just a bit of data and @ 100 MB per hour I will hit it within 2 days....

only if the download limits were 10 GB atleast....

Hmm...,

I get almost 30-31kpbs constantly and at time it goes upto 38-39

It normally connects at 252 kbps.

And another problem is that it sometimes gets disconnected after some time..., which is fustrating....

I know the BSNL is very Frustration thing in any other connection.
Nowadays there are different connection in media evenif you want to continue with this connection and If you disconnect mostly then you need to change your telephone line so you can't disconnect from net and you get maximum speed from it.
