Re: Clear the download history automatically in Mozilla Firefox

For that you have to make some setting that will let you free from the annoying download history. Just click on the Tools menu from the Menubar and then Gog to the option menu item. Now click on the privacy tab and then directly go to the down check box that is having the Ask me before clearing private data and unchecked that,. Now in the Clearing private section go to the setting and then select the option that you want to clear. And you are done.

Just do this to make the above things working and get rid of the download window
  1. Start the browser
  2. Go to tools menu
  3. Go to option
  4. Go to Privacy tab
  5. Uncheck the "Ask me before clearing private data"
  6. Click on setting button above this
  7. Now uncheck all and check the download history
Done!!!!!

Re: Clear the download history automatically in Mozilla Firefox

Formerly named History Menu, this extension aims to make the History menu more usable, and the history sidebar less necessary. The extension adds a submenu for each day and lists all sites visited on that day, rather than just the last ten sites visited... as is in the standard History menu. Some of the extension's behavior may be changed through its preferences. This is all about History Submenu.
