How to setup an event in Google Calender

    Hi,
If Outlook allows you to maintain your calendar, it stays on your computer. Not so easy to share your time with your friends or colleagues. What do here if I want to go for an online calender. For that a friend suggested me Google Calender to use and setup events in the same. I need some basic information on the same.

You'll be able to manage your appointments from anywhere and share it with your friends. They may view public events freely and can even add appointments if you give them the opportunity. For this, we recommend the Google Calendar service. Completely free and simple to use, this is a very practical solution for managing leave a team, planning a room, festivals and anniversaries of family. Especially since this service can take multiple calendars simultaneously.

You can add up new appointment in course of an hour. You can change the duration in increments of ½ hour moving the double line at the bottom of the frame. To amend and clarify the details of an event, click it and in the bubble that appears, click Edit event details. You can then change the date and time of appointment, set a place and add a description. By checking the box all day, you can specify your vacation or travel for example.

If you want a regular event then you can set the frequency and capacity of the calender task. To repeat an event over several days, the pull down list select the frequency and periodicity. You can then configure the repetition of the event and its period. Finally, click the Save button when finished. By default, the Google Calendar you aware of an appointment by opening a window 10 minutes before it. This implies to have an open calendar. You can choose to be reminded of your appointments by email.
