Re: TransferJet Technology Developed by SONY

This TransferJet technology is developed by the Sony and this was introduced in the year 2008 at the CES for the first time. After that almost all the big companies supported the Sony for the advancement of this technology. Now Sony has launched the product which is enabled with the TransferJet technology in the market. But for transferring the data from one device to another device you have to keep both the devices close to each other like we use to do with the infrared technology.

Comparison between the TransferJet and the Bluetooth Technology.
In many of the ways the latest TransferJet technology which transmits the data wirelessly is very similar to the the currently in use Bluetooth technology. But the difference is that the TransferJet transfers the data at much higher speed as compared to the Bluetooth technology. For example, with Bluetooth, transfer of data takes place over a range of several feet. Since the signal is not encrypted, it can be intercepted by other Bluetooth devices.
