How to use SeaMonkey

I have heard about SeaMonkey recently. It is a nice browser and easy to use with many security features. I need some more description and it usage. It is a comprehensive browser in fact the successor of Firefox) which included. What I know that it has an mail client, an HTML-editor, IRC client, pop-up Blocker, etc.

SeaMonkey is what might be called a worthy successor of the Mozilla suite, that is to say, a browser decorated including a client for email, a calendar, an instant messaging or a Web page editor. The developers have launched version 2.0 which brings a lot of important news. You can also get more editor information by this.

Re: How to use SeaMonkey

SeaMonkey is a community project, which means that it is maintained through a bunch of passionate developers, but with the blessing of the Mozilla Foundation. The code that serves as template for navigation is that of Firefox, SeaMonkey 2.0 and also builds on the recent milling 3.5.4 software Mozilla. But here you can have the main novelties of SeaMonkey 2.0.

The profile management has been improved and their default position was changed. The former profiles can be migrated automatically. A new extension manager that uses the same mechanisms as that of Firefox. The restoration of the sessions. Reopening a window closed. New storage solution for the background that allows among others to record details. The toolbars are now fully customizable. Mailnews now supports RSS and Atom are automatically detected.

IMAP accounts now default keep a local copy of mail. The synchronization may be limited to an account or even a single file. Inclusion of tabs in management letters, which will open in a new tab message, folder or even a full account. This possibility can also now add the extension Lightning. A better manager passwords. A new download manager and a new handler for the form data.

In this the cookie manager improved. The HTML rendering engine Gecko is the same as in Firefox 3.5. The default theme for Mac OS X has been redesigned to better match the interfaces of Leopard and Snow Leopard. Attention support for Windows 95, 98, Me and NT4 has been abandoned. On Linux GTK 2.10 or more must be present, while Macs are abandoning compatibility with Jaguar and Panther 10.2 and 10.3 versions of Mac OS X.
