Cannot view PDF files in Google Chrome

Okay now this is something very weird happening with me since I have installed Google Chrome. I don't know if this is a problem with my computer or some bug with Google's new browser Chrome. The problem is that whenever there is a website which contains any PDF file then I am not able to open it in Chrome. I have to open it in a different browser by copying the link, but cannot open it in Chrome. Can some one please check on this. Because I am confused like is this a problem with my computer or the browser itself.?

Hey don't worry there is no problem with your computer and not with the browser that is Google Chrome also. There are some settings which are to be made in the the browser and that should fix it for you. It is just that google has given its users the freedom to choose if they want to view or open the pdf files. So what exactly is happening is that the Adobe Reader browser plugin is not communicating properly with the browser. So you don't need to worry weather it is an computer problem or anything like that.

Ya okay fine there is no problem with my computer but then if google has given its users an option to view or not to view then what changes should be made if I want to view those PDF files in my Google Chrome. And are there any other options available in google chrome which are been blocked by the google but can be unblocked by the users if they want. And please can some one give a step by step information of how to change that PDF option.

Now you can change the settings of your browser.
You need to have Adobe Reader installed on your computer.
First open Adobe Reader and click on Edit then click on Preferences.
Then click on the option Internet on the left hand side.
Then select the ‘Preview PDF in browser‘ check box at the top.
If the checkbox is selected already, then you may have to deselect it, click OK, then open Preferences again to reselect it.
    Then click OK.
Now close the browser and reopen it and see if the error comes again.

If that doesn't work then there is one more way which you can try.
Open your Adobe Acrobat Reader and then click the Help menu.
Now click on the Repair Adobe Reader/Acrobat installation.
This will initiate a repair routine on your already installed copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader. Which will check for errors. And if any found then it will try to repair.
