Bittorrent tracker issues

I had been running Windows Xp as my operating system. I used Bittorrent program, in order to download movies from the internet. From last few days i had been facing some torrent issue, while trying to download. All i get from the trackers is connection closed by peer all the time and my speeds are down from about 900 kbs to 10 kbs. It was working fine and now i just cant connect to any trackers i done the online scan to see if my isp was throttling and its clear. I cant even download the open office stuff at any great speed and i used to be able too. So, can any one tell me that how do i resolve Bittorrent tracker issues? Any one knows about it? Kindly help me out to resolve the above issue. Thanks.

A BitTorrent tracker is a server that assists in the communication between peers using the BitTorrent protocol. You need to forward your ports if you have NAT in order to get optimal speeds. This is one of the most common issues people fail to configure when they use BitTorrent. It is also, in the absence of extensions to the original protocol, the only major critical point, as clients are required to communicate with the tracker to initiate downloads.

The need for a good BitTorrent tracker for Drupal is obvious. More and more sites provide large downloads, and BitTorrent is the best way to distribute those files. This error occurs if a drive BitTorrent Mainline is trying to access does not exist, or is missing. This most frequently occurs if a drive letter has changed, or if the data BitTorrent Mainline was looking for was located in a removable drive that is no longer in the computer.

BitTorrent protocol allows users to distribute large amounts of data without putting the level of strain on their computers that would be needed for standard Internet hosting. I think the announce.php script crashes/stops at the 'user_load' function. Without commenting it out.. the bt client says 'tracker sent null'. A standard host's servers can easily be brought to a halt if extreme levels of simultaneous data flow are reached.

To resolve the issue, make sure the paths BitTorrent Mainline is trying to use are all existent. This means that all torrent jobs should not have their Save As field set to a directory on some non-existent drive letter. But if a user violates some rules of your site and you would like to remove their permission to use the tracker, it should be as simple as changing a role the user have. The same thing applies to the Directories preferences.
