    Firefox Error code : ssl_error_ssl_disabled

I have a problem while opening the Firefox, comes this error message: A secure connection could not be established because the SSL protocol is disabled.

    (Error code: ssl_error_ssl_disabled)

Unfortunately the page can not be shown because the authenticity of the data could not be verified.

    * Please contact the website operators to inform them of this problem.

My operating system is Windows Xp SP3. Would be nice if someone could help me!

Firefox is the certificate to avoid warnings. You should only bypass the warning if you are sure that the site is legitimate. Legitimate public sites will not ask you to do. An invalid security certificate can be an indication of a webpage you want to light up or to steal your identity.
    • Click on the warning page Or you can add an exception ...
    • Click on Add Exception .... Add Security Exception dialog will appear.
    • Click Get Certificate.
    • Read the text that the problems with this website describes.
    • Click Confirm Security Exception if you trust the Web site.

Re: Firefox Error code : ssl_error_ssl_disabled

This error warns you that the certificate of the pages you visit using a serial number identical to that of a certificate that you've already accepted. This may not be circumvented through the following method. Check the file permissions in your profile folder. The file must be named cert8.db not read-only. To do this on Windows machines:
    • Open your profile folder in Windows Explorer.
    • Right click on the file named cert8.db.
    • Choose Properties. A dialog will come up
    • Go to the General tab
    • Make sure the "read-only" checkbox is not checked.
    • Press OK.

If both fields are checked, this section does not apply. You can go to the next section.
If both SSL 3.0 and TLS 1.0 is not checked, then check to both.
Click OK to close the Options window,
