| Re: Internet Explorer gives Restricted Site Page on opening some sites
Does this happen with Internet explorer only? There can be a problem with your current browser which is internet explorer, So you can try using some other browser, there are number of browsers available which include Mozilla firefox, Opera and Safari. Install one of the browser and try to access the websites. You will not be redirected to the Restricted page again. |

By looking at the problem it is certain that the browser you are using has gone corrupt. Uninstall the current version of the Internet explorer and install a fresh copy of it. After installation upgrade it to the latest version available and then check if you are able to view the websites. If it does not work then try some other browser to access these websites. |

Clearing the private data and cookies might solve the problem. To clear the private data and cookies, go to Tools-- Then select Internet Options from the drop down list. A new window with several tabs will open. Now select General-- On the general tab, click on the Clear History button and Select yes. Now Click on Delete cookies button and select yes. Now click on Apply and then Ok. Now restart the browser. Hopefully you will not get redirected to the Restricted Page. |

As you are redirected to the Restricted page, it can be due to your security settings of the browser. Many times the security certificates of the sites are not accepted by the browser if they do not have trusted roots. You can change the Security preferences of the browser by going to Tools tab and move the website which is returning Restricted page from Restricted site to Trusted site and save the settings. |

There is a possibility that your computer must have downloaded a virus while surfing the site. Run an Antivirus scan on your computer and see if there are any infected files. If there are any files which are infected, try to repair them or Quarantine them. Also run a Malware and spyware scan just to be sure. After running all the scans, try accessing the websites which gave restricted page. If it still does not work, then reinstalling the browser might do the trick. |
