FireFox address bar issue.

Hi I am using windows Xp in which I have installed Mozilla Firefox. I am facing some problem in it. But before it working properly and now I don't know what I did wrong with it. I am having problem with address bar, when I type an address in a address bar, It will not display URL of the next page address. Suppose I typed Google.com then it loads Google home page but when I click on sign in, it goes to sign in page but it has same previous home page URL on it.
Help me please.

Try to do following steps:
I am also facing the same issue n windows XP.
I had fix this problem
*First uninstall Mozilla Firefox
*Delete the all folders manually.
c:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
c:\Users\myuser\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla
c:\Users\Ania\AppData\Local\Mozilla
*download the latest version of mozilla firefox and install it.
*Now check weather the problem is fixed or not.

Here is the best solution. Because I am also having the same problem with mozilla Firefox in windows xp.
Click on the start button and then Run
In Run window Type %appdata% and click ok.
Now click on Mozilla folder then open Firefox folder.
And then Profile.
Go to the folder option menu and check on show hidden files.
Now delete each file having .sqlite.
Now restart your system
Check your your Mozilla Firefox.

First you have to check weather your computer is not infected by the virus, because a virus can cause this type of address bar problem. Try to buy or download kaspersky latest antivirus software. With help of this you can scan your entire computer and the details are displayed in then details window, if it find any virus it prompts for delete, so delete that virus file. Now run your Mozilla Firefox.

I think it is looks like a big problem. Because I have seen same problem in many places with different peoples. After So many R&D I get a solution fro this problem. I you like to solve this problem then do the following. Restart your computer in safe mode by pressing F8 at the initial stage of windows booting. Now you have to run Mozilla Firefox and disable all extensions and plug ins. See weather your Mozilla works or not.
