Yahoo Messenger 10 File association error message

HI, hope you guys are aware of this annoying File association error message. Last month i uninstalled my Yahoo Messenger 9 and install version 10 Beta. Its fine off course but am facing some problem when i am trying to view any user's profile. Whenever i try to do so, YM gives me an error message stating "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Folder Options control panel."

I am not able to view any profile with this version of yahoo messenger due to that error message.FYI, i am getting this problem on one of my Windows Xp computer. Is any one there to help me out of this ? Thanks in advance..

    • Click Edit.
    • Click Browse.
    • Navigate to the \Program Files\Internet Explorer folder.

You may also need to repeat these steps for the following file associations:
    1. URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol with Privacy
    2. URL:File Transfer Protocol
    3. URL:Gopher Protocol

Once done, you need to set Internet Explorer to check whether it is the default browser. To do so just follow these simple steps:-
    1. Click Start and select Settings.
    2. Click Control Panel.
    3. Double-click Internet Options.
    4. Click the Programs tab.
    5. Click to select the Internet Explorer. Look to see if there's a check in the box indicating it's the default browser.
    6. Click OK.
    7. Start Internet Explorer.
    8. Click OK when you're prompted to make Internet Explorer the default browser.
