Hi people ,I stay in mumbai and i am using the mobile service of LOOP MOBILE. As i do not have the internet connection at my place. I want to surf on the internet through my cell phone. But i do not know how to get the settings of GPRS or WAP for my mobile phone. I want the WAP setting for of LOOP mobile. Please give me the settings if you know?

There are three ways by which you can get the GPRS or WAP settings for your mobile phone. But you did not mentioned here about your cell phone. You have not given the name of your mobile phone. You have only written the name of your service operator. The first way by which you can get the GPRS or the WAP settings for your mobile phone is by the SMS. Call the customer care and ask on which number the SMS is to be sent and what should be written in that message.

The second way is to enter the settings manually. I am providing you the WAP settings for mobile phone as LOOP MOBILE does not provides the GPRS service.

After this go to advance setting and enter this settings
1.network type:IPv4
2.Phone IP address: automatic
3.DNS address: automatic
4.Proxy server address : 10.0.0.10
5.Proxy port address : 9401

The another way to get the WAP setting for your mobile phone is to reach at CUSTOMER CARE CENTER. Ask them to give the settings for your cell phone. they will provide the WAP settings according to your mobile phone and the model number. Because every mobile model has the different settings. It is not possible that the two different mobile models can have the same WAP configuration.
