Internet Explorer 7 - Error PSAPI.DLL missing

Hi,

After installing Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 version I get each time I boot the PC the error message, "The procedure entry point GetProcessImageFileNameW could not be located in the dynamic link library PSAPI.DLL"what does this mean? and how do I fix that ??

To remove error message PSAPI.DLL not found :

1. Download this FrontierPsapiInstaller file to your desktop and unzip the file.

2. Make sure that you as administrator of the computer logged.

3. Close all other programs.

4. Double-click FrontierPS.exe to the installer.

5. Click Yes when you are prompted.

6. If there are prompted to restart your computer you can do this. You have finished.

The "SmartBridge" PSAPI.DLL Error Message, After installing IE7 you may get an error message that says something like: The procedure entry point 'getprocessimagefilenameW could could not be allocated in the dynamic link library PSAPI.dll " This is an error to do with some "broadband helper" software your ISP has installed on your computer and is easy to fix. First go once in the search tree where the smart bridge error hits, Telenet EasyCare or so, once you know this then do the following:

To workaround this error:

1. Navigate to the installation location for SmartBridge which should be something like:
   
2. Program Files \ BT Broadband Desktop Help \ SmartBridge
   
3. Now find the file PSAPI.DLL and rename it to something like PSAPIOLD.DLL
   
4. Now reboot the computer.

Many users have been installing Internet Explorer 7 (IE7) after starting the computer and the appearance of the desktop to see a popup with the following error. Smart Bridge Alerts: Motive SB.exe-entry point not found. Can Point of Entry process getprocessimagefilenameW could not find DLL file PSAPI.DLL.

To resolve this error : Go to "Search" and enter the search command to search for files named PSAPI.DLL that will stand in a folder in C: / Windows / Program Files / folder / file. This folder will be named Smart Bridge, then what the PSAPI.DLL file in that folder just rename PSAPIoud.dll in and the problem should be resolved.
