This can be resolved by having a Media center system. A media center Pc basically has an Inbuilt Tv tuner card through which you could connect your system to TV. You can then select the option on your system by media center edition and play videos that telecasts on TV. You can record them as well via remote device. You can also use an external tv tuner card f not media center editon pc and you need to install the chip or a remote in order to do the possible stuffs.
