    Windows 7 incompatible applications

    Hi,
I want to install Internet Explorer 8 in my Windows machine. After installing Windows 7 the Internet Explorer was giving a low performance. It was working too slow in opening a page. I heard that Internet Explorer 8 offers you private browsing options. I need to something about this. Also what types of applications are incompatible with this operating system. Like Windows XP a major part applications does not work on it. And at last which is the best type of codec support for Media player 12. Thanks in advance.

    Re: Windows 7 incompatible applications

Having had an older Internet Explorer and totally overwhelmed by its competitors, version 7, more comprehensive, standards-compliant and above all more secure emerged. We speak now that the next version, version 8 will be, many hope, the version that will reconcile the users but also developers with Web browser from Microsoft. In spite of universal standards (W3C), it is very difficult to make a site that works for all users regardless of their browser, and even your normal user, you probably already have encountered a site that does not work properly for you . It was the fault of the browser, Microsoft realized this and decided to make amends by creating a new, more rapid, more secure and standards compliant. This version 8 is included by default in Windows Seven, plus the usual features already had Internet Explorer 7, this is what it contains. Your problem lies due to improper installation or any third party application. Try to re-install the same.

The private browsing is now present on all existing Web browsers, is a mode which, when active, prevents the registration of any personal data and, in this mode. The features are no download history, no cookie, no entry form registered, no login or password saved & no cache or temporary files. This makes surfing more secure. SmartScreen filter is intended to protect the user against sites that could either contain malicious code (viruses) against phishing sites. If there was a similar function in IE7, it was a form of address bar color (white, green, red and yellow) depending on the threat.

    Re: Windows 7 incompatible applications

I always preferred Media Player Classic, while others prefer VLC, to avoid using it, deemed too heavy and too slow, in addition to an interface charge and unnecessary. Microsoft subsequently investigated the use that people made their media player. The two main uses are playing music and then video playback but especially for the latter case, the user clicks on the file and goes into full screen mode directly, without addressing the rest of the application. Therefore, WMP 12, by default, when you launch a video, use a totally refined. Well the good news is that Windows Media Player 12 by default contains a number of codecs. You will automatically find the latest version of DivX, Xvid, but also the HD codecs like h.264. It does not answer everything and I needed to add codecs Quicktime, Real, or FLV MKV but ultimately it's nice to be able to play most videos just installed the system.

    Re: Windows 7 incompatible applications

Hundreds of people saying "Vista sucks, my application does not work above. However, apart PDFCreator and SuperCopier which touched on API systems that have changed, all other applications could walk by playing on the compatibility mode or AUC. Windows Seven is exactly the same.
Firstly, the virtual drives like Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120% did not install. The STPD driver is not compatible with Seven and is not intended to be before the release of Public Beta Seven. Then other applications that do not affect the system as Photoshop CS3 has also refused to move but still playing on the compatibility and UAC.
