sophos threat report "for the first six months of this year, 23,500 new infected web pages - one every 3.6 seconds - were detected each day during this period. That's four times worse than the same period last year, said Richard Wang, who heads the laboratory of Boston. Many of these infections have been found on legitimate sites websites. Many legitimately rely on paid advertising to pay the bills. But Wang said that the statistics gathered by recent infection in his program laboratory they often hide malicious software, without the knowledge of the site owner or user. Lot of sites supported by advertisers rather than contracting directly with the advertiser, work through advertising agencies and a network of subsidiaries, "said Wang." Some of these subsidiaries are not eager to discuss the content of defects and infections. "SQL injection is a technique that exploits a flaw in the coding of a Web application or page that uses entry forms. An attacker could, for example, the SQL code to enter a field that is intended to collect e-mail. If the application does not contain a security requirement to validate that input is the correct form, the server may execute the SQL command, allowing the intruder to take control of the server.

The use of types of tactical networking malware and social situation described above, and other means, attackers can steal log content provider in the credentials. Hence, it is not sweat that connects to the site and make changes. It is usually a change so subtle and so small that it escapes notice. Small pieces of code can then be added to steal your credit card or visitor data.Local other malware is a site that makes Reson unsecured. The site you visit may be perfectly safe, but if malware hidden on your own machine, you can unwittingly become part of the attack, said Wang. For example, the user can visit their online banking site, and when you type a username and password, the Trojan horse is here to save this information and transmit it to the attacker, allowing him to go later and empty your account or that of others.

Finally, there is the problem of hackers trying to sell you counterfeit goods including a fake security software. If an alert box appears that your machine may have been infected and you must immediately download a security tool to remove particular - a common occurrence if you've visited a site that surreptitiously downloads malware on your computer - c ' is a sure sign of trouble. The question involves the web system security certificate, known as SSL (Security Sockets Layer). The "https:" address and the padlock symbol shows that the data sent to and from a site will be encrypted and the site has a legitimate security certificate to prove he is actually owned by the person or the organization that claims it. The certificate is verified by third party authorities SHA authority. Some already use-1, which, rather than a password 32 digits, is one of more than 18 million billion digits.
