    Facebook Chat only

Facebook is a social networking website where you can meet your friends, share photos, have a chat and play a lot of games and Quiz and stuffs like that. But Facebook is too heavy and consumes a lot of bandwidth. If you are on a limited data plan, you have to think twice before regularly using facebook. If you are on a unlimted data plan but with a slower bandwidth, it will take too much time to load the home page, especially when you have a lot of applications added. If you want to use the Facebook Chat only, what should be done? Please help me friends. I'm one of those who have unlimted data connectivity but a slower bandwidth plan...

There are so many IM clients that allow you to log into Facebook from the IM itself. You can download IM Clients like Adium and Pidgin. These are free IM clients which support all the IM services like yahoo, msn along with Facebook. Hope this helps you. You can see this link : Facebook Chat On Desktop

    Re: Facebook Chat only

Most facebook chat client just opens a webpage which targets the chat application of facebook. So instead of using the chat clients why not directly open a webpage which will skip all the things and directly load the Facebook chat. Here is the way, Open any browser and go to this address :
    Code:
    http://www.facebook.com/presence/popout.php
Sign In by typing your user ID and password and click Sign In. Done, you will be presented with the Facebook chat that appears from its homepage, but this will be in full screen...
