How to setup MobileMe with Mac Os PC

Hi,, I am a MAC OS X user. Last week i subscribe for MobileMe and want to set it up with my Mac computer so that i can manage and share information from any computer connected to the Internet.

Could anyone make me know how can i set up MobileMe on your computer ? Thanks in advance for the help.

You need to make sure you have the latest software, and that you’ve set up your MobileMe account on each computer, iPhone, or iPod touch that you plan to use to access MobileMe products and services. If you are ok with all these things than follow these steps:-

• Make sure your computer is running the latest version of Mac OS X Leopard (v10.5.8) or Snow Leopard (v10.6).
• To check for updates, choose Apple menu > Software Update.
• Follow onscreen instructions if necessary.
• Now Sign in to MobileMe System Preferences from the Apple menu, select System Preferences.
• Select MobileMe.
• Sign in with your MobileMe member name and password.
• Click the Sync tab, select the “Synchronize with MobileMe” checkbox, and then choose Automatically for the fastest updates.
• Select the Contacts, Calendars, and Bookmarks checkboxes.
• If you have more than one Mac, select the other items you want to sync across your Macs.
• Click the Sync Now button.
• In a few minutes, your email, contacts, calendars, and bookmarks on your Mac will be available at me.com and will stay in sync with any other devices you set up.

Hi mate.. I should thank you for sharing this. Now i am need in some similar help to this. I am already using MobileMe with my computer but now i need to set it up on my Apple iPhone. Do you guys have idea of doing that ? Please let me know soon.

Here is how to setup MobileMe with iPhone and Ipod too:-

1. Download and install the latest version of iTunes (v9 or later).
2. Connect your iPhone or iPod touch to your computer, launch iTunes, go to the iTunes summary tab, and then click “Check for Update.”
3. Follow onscreen instructions to upgrade to iPhone OS 3.1, if you haven’t already.
4. On your Home screen, tap Settings.
5. Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
6. Make sure Fetch New Data is set to Push.
7. Tap Add Account and choose MobileMe.
8. Enter your MobileMe account information then tap Save.
9. Turn on Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and Bookmarks.
10. Turn on Find My iPhone to let you find your device on a map at me.com/account.
11. Tap Done.
12. Turn on Passcode Lock so only you can turn Find My iPhone on and off:
    
    • Tap Settings.
    • Tap General, then Passcode Lock.
    • Enter a passcode and confirm.
