Error 0x80040201 when sending email

Hello friends,

I am using Outlook 2007 and recently i have configured my new gmail account with my Outlook, everything is working fine if i send any email through Web that is by login into my gmail account, but if i try to send any emails through my Outlook i am getting the following error message as

Task 'Gmail - Sending' reported error (0x80040201) : 'Unknown Error 0x80040201'

Does canyone know how to overcome from this issue.

It seems that you have not configured your Outlook 2007 with gmail account because of which you are getting this error message in that case i would recommend your to delete your account from Outlook 2007 by clicking on Tools then goto account setting. After deleting it, try to reinstall your Outlook and reconfigure it again and i am sure now you won't get any Error 0x80040201 message.

Thank you Ramchandra for replying me i have try to delete and reconfigured my outlook account but still i am same error message and i have also try to reinstall Outlook 2007 too, but that also didn't worked out for me. Does anyone has any other solution apart from above and if i try to configure it on another computer it's working fine, it seems that there is some issue with my system.

I was also getting error 0x80040201 message whenever i try to send any emails. When i told one of my friend about it he told me to download OutlookSpy and after downloading browse to any folder by opening the IMsgStore window and then clicking the "Open Root Container" button. Then click on Open Root Container, over there goto GetContents Table. Over here you will see some of the files being highlighted, click on OpenEntry option. Now in the you will see new window over here click on ImsgStore:AbortSubmit. Then go back to previous page. From the previous page (GetContents Table), click Delete button to delete the row. Retry the each steps to each row one-by-one. For downloading click here
