How to close my hotmail account?

Hi,

I think I should close the hotmail account. I want to get a new account, a fresh account. Is this possible?
Please help me out with the steps.

* Go to Microsoft Hotmail page Close your MSN account.
* Select Close My Msn account and delete my credentials. * Press (close account)

Before you begin you should remember that closing the account fully all information related to the account will be deleted and you will not be able to reopen. Login to your Windows Live / Hotmail account and go to the front page of your account. The front page are "Options" and then connect it. Once you click the options commit a drop down menu will appear. Click "More Options" menu. Find the option on the left side of the screen titled "Mail" and click it. Find "View and enter your personal information" from, and click it. At the bottom of this page there is a connection with one titled "is, Account Closed." If you click it would take you through the closing process should lead.

Do you have free account or paid account?

If you have a paid account then you have to end your subscription before closing your account. To end your subscription:

1. Visit the Microsoft Billing and Account Management of the website, and then sign in with the email address you want to cancel.
2. Follow the instructions on screen to cancel your paid subscription. This puts your paid Windows Live Hotmail account in a free Live Hotmail account
3. To cancel your free account after you cancel your paid subscription, follow the steps above.

How to Close a Hotmail Account

1. Sign in to your Windows Live Hotmail account.
2. Click Help.
3. In the Search box, type cancel account, and then press ENTER.
4. Click How do I close my account or why was my account closed?.
5. Click Close a free Windows Live Hotmail account, and then click the Windows Live Hotmail close account link.
Note If you are returned to your inbox when you click this link, you may have an MSN Mobile subscription that is associated with this account. To close your MSN Mobile account, visit http://mobile.msn.com, sign in, and then click Delete my account. After you have completed this step, begin at step 1 earlier in this section.
6. Click Close My Account.

Note If you decide that you do not want to cancel your account after you follow these steps, you can still reactivate your account. To reactivate your account, sign in to one of the following Web sites within 90 days:
