How to subscribe to Windows Live OneCare?

Hi,, i have a very short query out here. For more security for my Home network, pc, etc.. i want to subscribe to Windows Live OneCare.

Could you guys please make me know how do i subscribe for the same ? Thanks in advance.

With OneCare comes greater peace of mind, knowing your home network, computers, and vital personal data are better protected from online threats, not to mention that any children can surf in greater safety too. Windows Live OneCare is a subscription-based service and hence you need your Windows Live ID to subscribe. If you downloaded OneCare from the Windows Live OneCare website, you must purchase a subscription before the trial period ends to continue to receive updates and to have access to all the features of OneCare.

If you purchased a retail version of OneCare, a subscription is included in the software purchase price, but you still must activate it. We recommend that you activate OneCare as soon as you can.

Once you downloaded Windows live Onecare and finished the installation on your system, just follow this steps to subscribe with your Windows Live ID:-

• Open OneCare, and then click Subscribe.
  
• If you have a Windows Live ID, click Yes, I have one, and then click Next.

If you purchase a subscription, OneCare is automatically upgraded to the subscription version of the program as long as you have signed in with the same Windows Live ID that you used when you originally installed OneCare.

Incase you don't have Windows Live ID, there is an another way to subscribe for Windows Live Onecare. Here is how:-

1. When you click on the subscribe option after Opening OneCare, click on No, I need one.
2. Click on Next
3. In the OneCare Activation wizard, enter your Windows Live ID and password, and then click Sign in.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions.
5. Thats it!!
