Why I need to paste e-mail website links to browser?

    Hy guys,

My operating system is Windows XP Home and i use Outlook Express as my e-mail software. All am asking is Why must I paste links to websites that I receive via e-mail to my browser to be able to view them? Do I need to alter the setting here? Am I missing some sort of software to open these links from Outlook Express?

    advance thanks for answers

Have you installed MyIE2 or another browser? And then uninstalled it?.Your links could be attempting to open the old browser when it has been removed. In IE, go to View | Internet Options | Programs and select OE for mail and news. Also, ensure "Internet Explorer have to check to see whether it is the default browser" is checked.

My doubt is that this is a security setting that has been put in a Windows Update along the way. This is ease to avoid you clicking on risky URLs that may come in spam/scam e-mails leading you to a fraud website which installs a Trojan or some other nasty on to your computer. In the out look express go to Tools Options & click the security tab. See if the setting 'Block images and other external content in HTML are chosen. also you should unmark that and restart OE and see what occurring.
