Download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and save it to your Desktop. Install it and finally make sure you checked the following: Update Malwarebytes 'Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware. Then click Finish. After launching the program, select Perform full scan, then click Scan. At the end of the scan click OK and then Show Results.check the result for any traces of malware,

You can also change the start page from the registry by doing the following:
    1. Go to "Start" then "Run" and type "regedit"
      HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main
    2. In the right pane, you right click on "Start Page" and then select"Edit"
    3. Then in the data field value , type the address of page you want to start eg http://www.google.com/
    4. then confirm with "Ok" and restart your PC before the changes are taken into account.
