    Re: V.92 standards

In the 56 Kbps V.90 modems the maximum download rate is of 56 Kbps, but the maximum upload speed is of 33.600 bps.using a PCM stream through an a/d conversion.Allows modems to stay connected 'on-hold' while you take an incoming call-waiting call.If both calling party and called party have an analog connection, so analog to digital and then back to analog conversion has take place.
